چکیده

We give numerical integration results for Feynman loop diagrams through 3-loop such as those covered by Laporta [1]. The methods are based on automatic adaptive integration, using iterated integration and extrapolation with programs from the QUADPACK package, or multivariate techniques from the ParInt package. The Dqags algorithm from QUADPACK accommodates boundary singularities of fairly general types. PARINT is a package for multivariate integration layered over MPI (Message Passing Interface), which runs on clusters and incorporates advanced parallel/distributed techniques such as load balancing among processes that may be distributed over a network of nodes. Results are included for 3-loop selfenergy diagrams without IR (infra-red) or UV (ultra-violet) singularities. A procedure based on iterated integration and extrapolation yields a novel method of numerical regularization for integrals with UV terms, and is applied to a set of 2-loop self-energy diagrams with UV singularities.

Transformation, Reduction and Extrapolation Techniques for Feynman Loop Integrals

We address the computation of Feynman loop integrals, which are required for perturbation calculations in high energy physics, as they contribute corrections to the scattering amplitude for the collision of elementary particles. Results in this field can be used in the verification of theoretical models, compared with data measured at colliders. We made a numerical computation feasible for vari...

Computation of Feynman loop integrals

We address multivariate integration and extrapolation techniques for the computation of Feynman loop integrals. Loop integrals are required for perturbation calculations in high energy physics, as they contribute corrections to the scattering amplitude and the cross section for the collision of elementary particles. We use iterated integration to calculate the multivariate integrals. The combin...

Parallel computation of Feynman loop integrals

The need for large numbers of compute-intensive integrals, arising in quantum field theory perturbation calculations, justifies the parallelization of loop integrals. In earlier work, we devised effective multivariate methods by iterated (repeated) adaptive numerical integration and extrapolation, applicable for some problem classes where standard multivariate integration techniques fail throug...

Some recent results on evaluating Feynman integrals

where ki, i = 1, . . . , h, are loop momenta and the denominators Er are either quadratic of linear with respect to ki and external momenta q1, . . . , qN . By default, the integrals are dimensionally regularized with d = 4− 2ǫ. If the number of Feynman integrals needed for a given calculation is small or/and they are simple, one evaluates, by some methods, every scalar Feynman integral of the ...

Numerical evaluation of tensor Feynman integrals in Euclidean kinematics

For the investigation of higher order Feynman integrals, potentially with tensor structure, it is highly desirable to have numerical methods and automated tools for dedicated, but sufficiently ‘simple’ numerical approaches. We elaborate two algorithms for this purpose which may be applied in the Euclidean kinematical region and in d = 4 − 2 dimensions. One method uses Mellin–Barnes representati...
